Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (6) - YI TUNG SHAN HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
SMILING MOON shifted in at the start and brushed BEAUTY TYCOON.
BEAUTY TYCOON then shifted in away from SMILING MOON and bumped AMAZING VICTORY.
ROYAL AGILITY shifted out on jumping and bumped the hindquarters of SCIENCE PATCH.
TURBO POWER shifted out at the start and bumped REGENCY BO BO.
After this, REGENCY BO BO and TURBO POWER were shifted across behind runners from wide barriers.
Also from the outside barrier, RIGHT HONOURABLE was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
After being crossed by SMILING MOON in the early stages, BEAUTY TYCOON commenced to travel very keenly and for some distance after the 1000 Metres got its head up when being checked away from the heels of SMILING MOON.
BEAUTY TYCOON then shifted out approaching the 900 Metres and inconvenienced AMBITIOUS HEART.
SMILING MOON lost its left hind plate at the 950 Metres.
Approaching the 750 Metres, AMBITIOUS HEART momentarily raced in restricted room between SCIENCE PATCH and BEAUTY TYCOON (A Badel) which shifted out when continuing to over-race.
BEAUTY TYCOON then continued to travel keenly and was very awkwardly placed behind SMILING MOON throughout the middle stages.
After the race, A Badel stated that, in his opinion, the manner in which BEAUTY TYCOON would not settle today was the reason for the horse's failure to finish the race off.
A veterinary inspection of BEAUTY TYCOON immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Near the 150 Metres, STARRY NIGHT was inconvenienced by SCIENCE PATCH (H N Wong) which shifted in when not quite clear.
H N Wong was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
Throughout the race, SCIENCE PATCH and ADEFILL travelled wide and without cover.
BEAUTY TYCOON, AMAZING VICTORY and BRAVE DREAMS were sent for sampling.

Amazing Victory quickened nicely near the inside travelling behind midfield after a sluggish start to grab a maiden win in the dying stages. The win was overdue after placing in four of eight prior starts. Brave Dreams ran on well to make it close on the wire after a wide trip with cover in midfield. He's close to a win. Science Patch was touched off late after hitting the front 300m out chasing the speed three wide without cover from gate nine. He's a winner waiting to happen in this grade. Turbo Power ran on well to fill the frame after a patient ride third last from a wide draw. It was a positive performance after filling the frame in his final two starts last term. Pride of Eight made some ground late without menacing after biding his time three from the rear. He proved a last start fourth following a downgrade was not a fluke. Starry Night weakened 100m out chasing the speed one off the fence. He needed the run. Regency Bo Bo made headway late ridden for luck from a wide draw. Favourite Beauty Tycoon never landed a blow after a prominent run along the fence. It was a disappointing effort.
