Recap by phillip woo

Plunged late Miracles quickened nicely through the centre to win going away 100m out after a wide trip towards the rear for a first win at his 19th start. He's always promised and the right change to James McDonald worked the oracle. the rear. Early favourite Super Joy ran on nicely to grab second after making his run second last following a slow start. He's made a solid impression for second with a return to the dirt in his past two starts. Prestige Moochi finished well down the outside to fill a placing after a patient ride two from the rear. He's run well once on each surface following a downgrade. Happy Tango was gifted an easy time in front but was on his tippy toes 100m out. Rattan World came from last to finish next best. It was an okay effort trying the dirt 1,200m for the first time. Goodmanship had his chance after a prominent run on the fence but came up one paced over the final 100m. Prefer him on the turf course. Modest Gentlemen couldn't turn it up another gear after a one-off trip from midfield. Post-time favourite Day Day Rich was struggling a long way out chasing the speed.
