Age: 22. Dylan Browne McMonagle was apprenticed to trainer Joseph O'Brien in 2019 at age 16. He rode his first winner that year at Navan. In 2021 he had his first ride in a Group race, winning the G3 Vintage Crop Stakes at Navan on outsider Baron Samedi. He was Champion Irish Apprentice in 2021 with 48 winners and is regarded as one of the most talented young jockeys in the world. He won his first Group 1 race on Al Riffa for Joseph O'Brien in the 2022 National Stakes. He has amassed 6 Group 1 wins so far across his career with Al Riffa, Scorthy Champ, Tennessee Stud and Ethical Diamond. He was named Irish Champion Jockey in 2025, and he has ridden across several jurisdictions including Ireland, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, United States of America, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Australia.
