Firming at very short odds, debutant Travel Emperor lived up to all the promise when taking control 200m out after switching into the open 450m out following a prominent run on the stands side. He's still very green but has a bright future and will certainly want a further trip in time. Winfull Patrol led and kept on gamely for second. He's reclaimed some form in recent runs and appears to be bottoming out. Beekely chased the leader and kept on well for a placing in a much-improved effort at his third start. The claim was well utilized but he's heading in the right direction. California Aspar stayed on all right sitting on the back of the speed despite carrying top weight in an improved second run in the grade with a switch to the straight 1,000m. He'll need a claimer with more pull in the weights. Beaut Beaut kept on one-paced travelling fore of midfield near the far side from an inside gate. It was only his second start and he appears one that wants a further trip in time.

Racing Incident Report

Race Two: (752)-LAPIS LAZULI HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Metres

WINNING CONTROLLER and SACRED IBIS were slow to begin.

SNOW HAWK began awkwardly.

SAKURA FIGHTER shifted in at the start and bumped GOLDINGTON HORN.

BEAUT BEAUT began awkwardly and shortly after the start dipped when awkwardly placed close to the heels of BEEKELY.

Passing the 200 Metres, BEEKELY raced tight outside WINFULL PATROL which got its head on the side and lay out.

Near the 75 Metres, BEEKELY was awkwardly placed outside WINFULL PATROL which was taken out by TRAVEL EMPEROR which shifted out when racing greenly.

The performance of SUPREME STORM, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.

Before being allowed to race again, SUPREME STORM will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

A veterinary inspection of BEAUT BEAUT and SACRED IBIS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

TRAVEL EMPEROR and WINFULL PATROL were sent for sampling.
