Giant Turtle kept on gamely after taking the lead from Jolly Gene 350m out following a pace-stalking run to make it back-to-back wins following step up in distance. His versatility on both surfaces and courses will keep the options plentiful but might find it harder up in weight next time out. Ensuring kept grinding away following a box-seat run to claim Super Chic in deep stretch for second. He has trouble winning but has run his eyeballs out each time to fill the frame in his six starts this term. Favourite Super Chic ran on well down the outside to take third after getting squeezed out at the start. He's honest but keeps finding a few too good. Lotus Strikes Back peaked on his run 100m out after taking off at the 650m following a midfield run. The 2,200m is a bit too far. Rule Thee kept plugging away to finish just out of the placings following a one-out, one-back run. The extra seven pounds on top anchored him in the drive.

Racing Incident Report

Race Four: (340) - WAH KWONG SHIP MANAGEMENT HANDICAP - Class 3 - 2200Meters

SUPER CHIC, GORGEOUS AGAIN and SHARP SAILOR were all badly crowded for room on jumping between RULE THEE (C Schofield) and GIANT TURTLE (U Rispoli), both of which shifted ground.

Both C Schofield and U Rispoli were advised to make every endeavour to prevent their mounts from shifting ground in similar circumstances.

After the 600 Metres, RULE THEE and LOTUS STRIKES BACK raced tight and bumped as LOTUS STRIKES BACK improved around RULE THREE as that horse was shifted to the outside of GIANT TURTLE.

Near the 250 Metres, AMAZING AGILITY was hampered when attempting to improve inside ENSURING (N Callan) which shifted in.

N Callan was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.

Passing the 200 Metres, AMAZING AGILITY was then shifted to the outside of ENSURING in an attempt to obtain clear running, however, was awkwardly placed close to the heels of that horse which also shifted out.

This resulted in AMAZING AGILITY being shifted back to the inside of ENSURING after the 100 Metres.

SUPER CHIC, GIANT TURTLE and ENSURING were sent for sampling.
