Recap by phillip woo

Punted late, veteran Grand Harbour got loose on the lead and never looked back to ring up a fifth career win. He's always a tough one to catch on either surface if he gets his own way in front. Favourite Giddy Giddy kept on a non-threatening second following a handy run. He rarely produces a bad run over this surface and trip. Flying Godspell kept plugging away following a prominent run with cover. On his current mark, he can break through at any moment. Red Horse made some ground following a midfield run to finish a clear-cut fourth. He's better on the turf over the 1,400m or a mile. Mutual Joy made some ground without menacing in his first run following a nose bleed back in January. Wait for him to get back on the turf over his preferred Valley 1,650m. Well-backed late Elusive State only plodded following a midfield run. He's better at a mile but on this effort might be looking for a break.
