Recap by phillip woo

World Record won going away approaching the 150m after jumping very well to travel on the fence in midfield. The key to victory was an alert start after drawing a good gate for once but it wasn't a strong race. Super Sweet Orange gamely held on for second after easily finding the front from gate one carrying a lightweight. Off a mark of 40, he'll be winning shortly in this grade or down in Class Five. Favourite Amazing Feeling ran on steadily from behind midfield to finish a non-threatening third. His consistency keeps him at the top of the grade off big weights which continues to make him risky at short odds on a win line. High Volatility rallied reasonably well down the outside after travelling fifth from the back to just snatch fourth. He's another finding it harder off big weights in his past two starts after a win. Game Of Fun only plodded over the final 150m after stalking the leader. He has been costly in his four starts and his ability is over-rated.

Racing Incident Report

Race One: (194)-TAI O HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Metres

GAME OF FUN and BRAVE KNIGHT were crowded for room on jumping between RED HORSE which shifted in and FOREVER POSH which shifted out abruptly despite the efforts of its rider.

In this incident, FOREVER POSH shifted out further after being bumped on the hindquarters by GAME OF FUN and become unbalanced.

After this, FOREVER POSH was ridden to go forward, however, failed to muster speed.

From wide barriers, RED PEONY and GENTLEMEN were steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.

Making the first turn near the 900 Metres, WORLD RECORD, which was inclined to lay out, raced tight inside NOBLE DE LOVE.

Approaching the 800 Metres, FOREVER POSH was awkwardly placed close to the heels of GO-GETTER.

Shortly after entering the Straight, RED PEONY was shifted in away from the heels of GO-GETTER.

BORN TO RACE had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.

Approaching the 250 Metres, SUPER SWEET ORANGE shifted out and bumped GAME OF FUN.

In the Straight, NOBLE DE LOVE lay out and proved difficult to ride.

Throughout the race, RED HORSE travelled wide and without cover.

After the race, it was noted that BRAVE KNIGHT was making a respiratory noise.

The Veterinary Officer reported that an endoscopic examination of BRAVE KNIGHT showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea and also found it to be a "roarer".

Before being allowed to race again, BRAVE KNIGHT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

A veterinary inspection of VICTORY DUKE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
