Recap by phillip woo

In a return to form, the late-fancied Gracydad made all after dictating the run for a second win from 27 starts. He was better rated following five unplaced runs and the leader's track did help. Favourite Bingo had to settle for second after chasing the speed. It's only a matter of time before he salutes after seconds in three straight runs. Specked late Honest Horse rallied well after travelling behind midfield on the fence to fill a placing in his first outing following a pelvic fracture in April. He's got some ability and if he pulls up fine, he merits attention going forward. Bond Elegance had every chance following a boxseat run. He's risky at short odds on his current form. Sharp Hunter finished off reasonably well three from the right after travelling one off behind midfield from a tricky gate. Ageing but is always a chance over this trip at this level. Carrying roll-up money, Happy Bao Bei only plodded following a tough run without cover sitting fore of midfield.

Racing Incident Report

Race Four: (422) - LILY HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters

TRAVEL SUCCESSOR, which was fractious in the barriers, got its head down as the start was effected and consequently began awkwardly.

KING'S FAIRY shifted in at the start and was checked away from the heels of BOND ELEGANCE.

Shortly after the start, TRAVEL SUCCESSOR and PEARL WARM WARM bumped, causing both horses to become unbalanced.

Also shortly after the start, SHARP HUNTER was steadied away from the heels of BINGO which shifted out.

From the outside barriers, CHEER WIN and COUR VALANT were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Making the turn after the 1000 Metres, KING'S FAIRY shifted out after being awkwardly placed close to the heels of HONEST HORSE.

Approaching the Home Turn, COUR VALANT was awkwardly placed inside the heels of KING'S FAIRY.

Passing the 300 Metres, HONEST HORSE was shifted in away from the heels of HERO LOOK.

Passing the 100 Metres, PEARL WARM WARM was awkwardly placed inside the heels of CHEER WIN.

Throughout the race, HAPPY BAO BEI travelled wide and without cover.

A veterinary inspection of CHEER WIN immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer??which had previously been reported.

A veterinary inspection of TRAVEL SUCCESSOR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

GRACYDAD and BINGO were sent for sampling.
