Noble Delight led and never looked back to open his win account at start four. He's naturally come into his own and looks perfectly suited to the Valley. Open House came on strongly from the rear of the field to grab second 50m out in clearly his best run to date. Early favourite Split Of A Second finished nicely one from the right after settling third last following a tardy break. He's racing well without winning and may be crying for the 1,400m at Sha Tin. Good Companion was overhauled late for a placing after settling one-off in third from a wide gate. Post-time favourite Bingo came up one-paced in the final 150m tracking the good pace in the box seat. He's hit his mark after a mid-April win. Junzi made some ground without menacing from beyond midfield. He prefers a faster track. Plunged late, Formula Galore wilted 150m out after pressing forward very deep from a wide gate to park second at the 900m. He had excuses.

Racing Incident Report

Race Three: (726) - SHOUSON HILL HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters

SPLIT OF A SECOND and UNIVERSAL GO GO began only fairly.

DOMINATOR shifted in at the start and bumped JUNZI.

CURLING LUXURY stumbled at the start and then for the majority of the race travelled wide and without cover.

As the start was effected, LIGHTNING MISSILE lifted its front feet off the ground and consequently began only fairly and then when being ridden along shifted in and bumped ALL MY GAIN, causing both horses to become unbalanced.

After this, from a wide barrier, LIGHTNING MISSILE was steadied and shifted across behind runners.

OPEN HOUSE was also steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.

Making the first turn near the 1000 Metres, JUNZI became unbalanced when momentarily tightened for room inside DOMINATOR which shifted in marginally when being steadied to allow BINGO to cross.

After the 700 Metres, BINGO was awkwardly placed inside FORMULA GALORE which shifted in to race outside the lead.

A veterinary inspection of FORMULA GALORE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

BINGO, NOBLE DELIGHT and OPEN HOUSE were sent for sampling.
