Racing Incident Report
Race One: (196) - CHEVALIER ALUMINIUM ENGINEERING HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters
KA YING WARRIOR was withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (swollen right fore).
Before being allowed to race again, KA YING WARRIOR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
BABY CRYSTAL's entrance to the track was delayed as the horse lost its left front plate after leaving the Parade Ring which required refitting.
SPEEDSTAR was slow to begin.
ALWAYS BEAUTIFUL began only fairly and then was bumped by SUPER EAGLE which shifted in.
NOBLE ONE shifted out at the start and bumped YOO YOO KNIGHT which in turn was taken out onto SEE U AGAIN.
After the 200 Metres, BABY CRYSTAL got its head on the side and lay out away from WE ARE HERO.
The performance of FORTUNE TURBO, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, FORTUNE TURBO will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
After the race, ALWAYS BEAUTIFUL was noted to have bled from both nostrils.
A veterinary inspection of SEE U AGAIN and FORTUNE TURBO immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WE ARE HERO and BABY CRYSTAL were sent for sampling.

Well-backed late We Are Hero dashed clear 200m out after a midfield run to ring up a first win at his ninth start. He had run with merit in three prior straight 1,000m runs and a gear change to visors and tongue-tie worked the oracle. Odds-on favourite Baby Crystal plugged on to finish a distant second up vying for the lead travelling near the stands side from a wide draw. He's made a good impression in his two starts and will be saluting shortly. One For All kept on well for a placing prompting the pace on the grandstand side. It was his best run to date following a nice trial win. Plunged late Might Valor grudgingly gave way after rolling forward to lead narrowly on the stands side 800m out from a low draw. It was his best run in a while with the claim well utilised with a step back to sprinting. Noble One made only a mild bid travelling better than midfield from a low draw. He's not reliable but is still lightly raced. Super Eagle made some ground from behind midfield near the grandstand side. He's still trying to settle in. Newcomer Always Beautiful made some ground without menacing from behind midfield. He needed the outing.
