TROUBLE IN RUNNING

LUCY IN THE SKY (J275) after the race was examined by the vet who found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 202.

GENEVA (J114) was withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on vet advice (lame left hind) . Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 255.

PAKISTAN LEGACY (J363) near the 300M bumped with a runner - Race 420.

HOTT SHOTT (L147) jumped only fairly. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Finished tailed out and performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 343.

AURIO (K056) raced keenly in the early stages - Race 454.

ANODE (K367) shifted out abruptly on jumping and was bumped. When questioned rider stated that he was requested to hold an on-pace position. He said as his mount was dropping back in distance he rode it along in the early stages to ensure he was able to comply with his instructions. He said when caught wide in the early stages and when his mount was not showing sufficient pace to cross, he then elected to endeavour to obtain cover. He added as his mount was racing keenly would not respond to his efforts to restrain and obtain cover which resulted in racing very wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 436.

IRON SECURITY (L174) shifted in on jumping and made contact with a runner - Race 410.

WUKONG JEWELLERY (K314) jumped awkwardly and lost ground. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages - Race 438.

ARMOUR WAR EAGLE (J039) jumped awkwardly. Raced keenly in the early stages when being steadied - Race 453.

SUPERB KING (K479) rider reported that his mount was required to do too much work in the early stages from the outside barrier to take up a forward position, and afterwards failed to run on in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 428.
