Supreme Profit hit the front 300m out after being left without cover in midfield at the 800m and kept finding to hold off favourite Dinozzo for back-to-back wins. He's a quality act on his day but is likely going to find it harder near the top of the weights when he next steps out. Dinozzo got shuffled back to travel behind midfield as the race changed complexion 1,100m out but finished well to finish a clear-cut second despite a rise in class. He's got more points in hand. Ambitious Champion stayed on well for a placing following a one-off run travelling fore of midfield. He relished a return to Sha Tin. Star Majestic closed off late near the outside after travelling fourth from the rear. He's running well but keeps finding one or a few too good. California Disegno wasn't far off the finish after tracking a genuine pace without cover until the 800m in his first run since October. He appears to be heading in the right direction and can pop up at any time.

Racing Incident Report

Race Nine: (294)-LONG KE HANDICAP - Class 2 - 2000Metres

SUPER CHIC and AMAZING AGILITY were slow to begin.

From the outside barriers, SERGEANT TITANIUM, RENAISSANCE ART, STAR MAJESTIC and ISHVARA were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

For some distance approaching the 1800 Metres, SUPER CHIC got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of DINOZZO.

Approaching the 1200 Metres, AMBITIOUS CHAMPION was awkwardly placed close to the heels of CALIFORNIA DISEGNO.

After racing wide, SERGEANT TITANIUM was allowed to improve its position passing the 1200 Metres to race outside the lead.

SUPER CHIC lost its left front plate approaching the 1100 Metres.

When the tempo of the race quickened after the 1100 Metres, ISHVARA, despite being ridden along, became detached from the main body of the field.

After the 1000 Metres, SUPREME PROFIT was left racing wide and without cover.

Approaching the 700 Metres, RENAISSANCE ART was awkwardly placed close to the heels of DINOZZO.

Approaching and passing the 400 Metres, AMBITIOUS CHAMPION was reluctant to shift to the outside of AMAZING AGILITY.

After the race, C Williams reported that MCQUEEN travelled satisfactorily in the early and middle stages, however, rounding the Home Turn he became concerned with the horse's action in that it gave ground quickly.

He said that given the manner in which MCQUEEN was giving ground, he eased it down in the Straight fearing there was something amiss with the horse.

A veterinary inspection of MCQUEEN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

The performance of MCQUEEN, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.

Before being allowed to race again, MCQUEEN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

A veterinary inspection of GREEN DISPATCH immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

SUPREME PROFIT and DINOZZO were sent for sampling.
