Raging favourite Morethanlucky held off Ping Hai Star after working to the lead 200m out following a midfield run to ring up a third win from four starts for his new trainer this term. Ping Hai Star finished well when only gaining a run 200m out following a patient ride beyond midfield. He's caught the eye in both outings and will be saluting shortly. Bring It On closed off well near the inside to fill a placing after travelling third from the rear. He pops up now and then and likely may need a dip into Class Four to open his win account. California Joy ran on steadily behind midfield along the fence to finish a nonthreatening fourth. He's gone close in four of five outings this term but likely needs to drop lower in the handicaps. Agree kept on all right after settling one-out, one-back from a wide gate. He'll need to wait for a dip back into Class Four for another win. Razor Quest got going late from the back without menacing. He needs a stronger rider.
