Racing Incident Report
Race Nine: (216) - NATHAN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1650Meters
GRAN MASTER and LAST KINGDOM bumped heavily at the start.
ENFOLDING began only fairly.
CHUNG WAH SPIRIT shifted out at the start and bumped GENERAL DINO.
After this, CHUNG WAH SPIRIT was shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
Also from a wide barrier, OWNERS' STAR was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
Approaching the 200 Metres, VOLPINO was shifted to the inside of ENFOLDING to obtain clear running.
VOLPINO was then shifted in away from the heels of BEAUTY ICON near the 150 Metres to continue improving.
Passing the 100 Metres, HANG'S DECISION was momentarily eased when racing tight between DEAL MAKER and VOLPINO.
A veterinary inspection of DEAL MAKER and GRAN MASTER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
ENFOLDING and HOLY HEART were sent for sampling.

Well-backed late to jump favourite Enfolding got the gap when needed after a rail run behind midfield to grab victory 50m out. He was able to lift off a lighter weight despite a rise in class for a second straight win. Early favourite Holy Heart finished very well after a patient ride fourth from the rear to make it close on the wire. He's turned the corner in his past two starts and remains one to follow on this surface up to 1,800m. Last Kingdom was swamped late after moving to the front 150m out following a box-seat run. He's not easy to get right. Endearing dashed nicely travelling outside the winner from an awkward gate to finish level with General Dino for fourth. He's racing well without winning. General Dino closed well near the outside after making his run with cover behind Endearing from a wide gate. He'll be a force to be reckoned with if he can draw a gate. Mongolian Legend ran on steadily to go close following a one-off run in midfield.
