Recap by phillip woo

Plunged late, Flying Bonus never looked back after leading from a wide gate. He appreciated the light weight and the dirt track had favoured leaders yesterday. Odds-on choice Lucky Fun was closing with every stride after working into the clear rounding the final bend travelling worse than midfield on the fence following a tardy start. Man Star just lost out in a battle for second after making his run one off the fence better than midfield. He wasn't able to build on a win at his initial AWT run last start. Specked late, Super Alliances came from behind midfield on the fence to fill the frame. It was another honest performance but he keeps finding a few too smart at this level. Magic Legend came up one-paced over the last 200m after rolling forward to stalk the leader 700m out from a wide gate. Resolute was yielding ground 150m out chasing the speed one off the fence. He'll need some time to adjust to the quicker tempo.
