Recap by phillip woo

Solid Shalaa came with a bold move to get up in the dying stages after working into the open 200m out following a rail run from midfield. He had been knocking on the door of a breakthrough win. Aca Power stayed on nicely for second after a box seat run. He continues to race consistently well. Diamond Flare was collared in the shadows of the post after easily finding the lead from gate 11. It was a return to form after two ordinary runs. Post-time favourite Hinokami Kagura was making ground late down the outside for fourth after a wide with cover run from just worse than midfield. He might require a further trip. High Rise Power closed off reasonably well after a wide without cover trip from behind midfield. It was a nice effort. Triumphant Warrior got going late without threatening after biding his time two from the rear. He's mixing his form. Speedy Smartie whacked on one-paced after a handy run. Strive For Glory finished next best after biding his time one from the rear.
