Old-timer Bundle Of Charm hasn't won in ages but does come off a game third from a low draw over the straight 1,000m and notched a second and third in two of four earlier C&D runs this term. He'll get his chance to salute from gate three. Mighty Commander quickened very well when ridden for luck at the rear from gate nine 14 days ago for a second win in Class Three plus two thirds, a fourth and fifth from six C&D runs this term. He must be a chance with the claim well utilised. Spicy Gold disappointed last start but had gone close to winning in two prior C&D runs and should get the right sort of run from gate one. Greater Bae hasn't been beaten far with excuses once across each track to start his career in Hong Kong. He's since won a trial and does attract the services of top jockey Zac Purton.
TRIUMPHANT MORE (J489) rider stated that the instructions were to hold an on-pace position. He said when his mount did not show sufficient pace in the early stages to comply with those instructions he then elected to steady his mount to obtain cover to avoid racing wide and without cover, which resulted in his mount racing ungenerously for some distance near the 900M. He added in the Home Straight his mount finished the race off fairly. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 332.
SPICY GOLD (H440) rider stated that he was obliged to make some use of the horse in the early stages to take up a position with cover behind the leaders. He said in the Home Straight his mount did not respond strongly to his riding and raced in a disappointing manner. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 332.

SUPER JOY N FUN (J164) when commencing to give ground near the 150M was steadied when momentarily crowded. Rider advised that the horse was obliged to race very wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a result did not finish the race off in the Home Straight - Race 322.
YOUNG ARROW (J401) bumped shortly after the start. Near the 200M was bumped. Rider reported that his mount raced keenly throughout the early and middle stages and approaching the 600M shifted out when being steadied to avoid a runner - Race 313.

GREATER BAE (L033) raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Rider stated that when his mount was under pressure it became unbalanced and blundered near t he 200M - Race 302.
TOURBILLON GOLFER (K320) rider stated that after holding a position outside the lead his mount gave ground under pressure in the Home Straight but he could offer no excuse for its disappointing performance. Following the race found that horse to be a "roarer" which had previously been reported - Race 313.
RED ELEGANCE (H241) near the 100M made contact with a runner when racing tight. Rider stated that his instructions were to settle where comfortable but attempt to hold a handy position.
