LITTLE PARADISE (K246) approaching the 350M shifted out to improve and as a result made contact with a runner. Rider reported that his mount was fractious in the starting gates which necessitated him calling to the Starter to delay the start. He said when the start was effected his mount was standing awkwardly and as a result jumped awkwardly and lost ground at the start. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 483.
NUMBERS (L080) when questioned rider stated that his instructions were to lead. He said in the early stages along the Back Straight he remained wide and allowed his mount time to move forward and to race in the lead. He said after improving to the outside of a runner near the 1000M, when that runner did not show the intent to hold the lead, he elected to allow his mount to stride forward to cross that runner and lead as instructed. When questioned regarding his riding from the 800M and if there was an opportunity to set a slower pace rider stated that as his mount is a big striding horse and one-paced he was satisfied that the horse was racing in a comfortable rhythm and as a result he elected to allow it to continue to stride forward without restraining his mount as he felt it would provide it with the best opportunity to obtain the best possible placing in the race - Race 483.
STORMY GROVE (K478) bumped shortly after the start - Race 483.
SAGACIOUS LIFE (K507) jumped awkwardly and then made contact with a runner. Bumped near the 1600M. For some distance in the early stages raced tight. Rider stated that after being crowded in the early stages his mount raced keenly throughout the early and middle stages and would not settle. He added as he commenced to improve into the race near the 200M he was obliged to check his mount when disappointed for clear running. He said after that incident his mount was unable to finish the race off. After the race was found to be a "roarer" which had previously been reported - Race 483.
INVINCIBLE IBIS (K296) near the 1600M, when racing keenly, shifted out and made contact with a runner - Race 483.
PATCH OF COSMO (J357) jumped awkwardly and then made contact with a runner - Race 483.
BEAUTY BOLT (K491) jumped awkwardly - Race 483.
TOP DRAGON (J481) jumped only fairly. Near the 300M had difficulty obtaining clear running when crowded. Between the 200M and the 100M rider dropped his right rein - Race 449.
REGAL GEM (K258) jumped awkwardly and made heavy contact with the left side of its starting gate and lost ground. From the outside barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages - Race 449.

DAZZLING FIT (K298) raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 483.
SERAPH GABRIEL (L108) rider stated that the horse was under pressure from the 500M and failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight and was disappointing. Trainer stated that the only explanation he could offer for the performance was that the horse may not have backed up from its last run on 1 February 2026 but otherwise the horse had pleased him leading into the race. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Performance was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 452.
POPE CODY (K313) in the middle stages raced keenly - Race 483.
SERAPH GABRIEL (L108) 19/02/2026 Disappointing performance. (passed on 10/03/2026).
