TROUBLE IN RUNNING

PODIUM (H173) briefly held up on the Home Turn - Race 626.

PRINCE ALEX (G307) raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Finished tailed out and performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 519.

SETANTA (G095) rider stated that the horse would be better suited with the reapplication of blinkers. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 595.

NOBLE FANS (K038) rider stated that the instructions were to hold a more forward position. He said when his mount jumped only fairly it settled further back in the field than intended - Race 626.

TELECOM POWER (J332) bumped near the 350M. Rider stated that the instructions were to hold a midfield position. He said after commencing well and when caught wide in the early stages he elected to allow his mount to stride forward to avoid covering additional ground. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 626.

ZETTA FORCE (J546) shortly after the start was bumped. For a short distance near the 250M had difficulty obtaining clear running. Bumped near the 150M and then raced tight for a short distance thereafter - Race 606.

DOUBLE BINGO (J309) after being placed in the starting gates kicked out behind, resulting in both hind legs becoming cast over the starting gate. Acting on vet advice that the horse was not suitable to race, the horse was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 626.

MANYTHANKS FOREVER (J065) between the 300M and the 200M was held up for clear running - Race 554.

WINDICATOR FAMILY (H419) shifted in at the start, made contact with a runner and became unbalanced - Race 596.

SMILING EMPEROR (J371) jumped only fairly. Lay out under pressure over the final 100M - Race 626.

DRAGON SUNRISE (J269) approaching the 1400M was steadied. Near the 800M shifted out when being steadied. Rider stated that after being steadied near the 800M his mount was obliged to race wide throughout the event and as a result finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 606.

WAH MAY WAI WAI (J193) jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Raced wide and without cover throughout the early stages and from the 900M was ridden forward to obtain a position outside the lead near the 700M. Near the 600M shifted in and made contact with a runner - Race 606.

ALL EYES ON ME (J453) from the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages - Race 665.

LUCKY GENERATIONS (J338) from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. In the early stages raced keenly and for some distance leaving the 1400M was steadied from heels. Continued to race keenly throughout the middle stages and near the 700M was steadied from heels, shifted out and made contact with a runner - Race 665.
