TROUBLE IN RUNNING

ALSONSO (J405) rider stated that his mount made a respiratory noise during the running of the event and gave ground noticeably over the final 150M. After the race was reported by the vet who said the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 276.

SILVER SPURS (J043) rider could offer no explanation for the horse's disappointing performance. Trainer could offer no excuse for the performance and advised that he will now spell the horse as he was of the view that it had reached the end of its preparation. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 231.

LAHORE (K043) rider stated that he was given no specific instructions but when his mount commenced well he was able to hold an on-pace position - Race 315.

CONSPIRATOR (K090) jumped only fairly. Held up for clear running between the 350M and the 200M - Race 315.

CIRRUS SPEED (K279) jumped only fairly. Making the turn after the 900M shifted out and got its head up when being steadied - Race 336.

GIANT BALLON (K451) near the 900M was steadied - Race 347.

EVERYONE'S GALLOP (K140) jumped awkwardly - Race 355.
